Burrington Pre-school

Welcome to Burrington Pre-school playgroup

We meet at Burrington Parish Rooms on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9.00am to 11.30am during term time.
Our aim is:

To enhance the development and education of pre-school children (3 to 5 year olds) in a parent involving, community based group

To provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment

To work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families
We offer your child:

A curriculum leading to approved learning outcomes

Fun and friendship with children and other adults

Individual care and attention
We offer you:

The opportunity to be directly involved in the activities of the group and in your own child's progress.

The Curriculum

Each child is supported in developing their potential at their own pace. Through careful planning of appropriate play activities with adult guidance as needed, we deliver a curriculum which leads to nationally approved learning outcomes. When children leave us they should progress with confidence to our local schools.
There are six areas we focus on:

Creative development

Knowledge and understanding of the world

Communication, language and literacy

Numeracy

Emotional, personal and social development

Physical development
